Long day
Jammed freeway
This is the time to be brave
Evening in sight
Here starts the fight
For getting home early and safe

Parking lots were full
Meetings were dull
And seemingly lasting forever
Talking was cheap
Immense seemed the heap
Of subjects that were far from clever

​

So here am I
Feeling high
Happy that twilight is here
Satisfied
Yet petrified
For the new workday is also near...
